Kelly Walsh is a former newspaper copy editor, a former high school English teacher and the writer of a sweet, flirty Christmas novel.

She is married to a retired Coast Guard Captain and is mother to her three grown, adopted children. Their family moved every couple of years throughout her husband’s career in the military, and their favorite tour was in Key West, FL, the inspiration for Kelly’s novel.

Kelly holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and a teaching certificate.

In her spare time, she loves painting antique and vintage furniture, knitting, and weaving romance tales. Her idea of a perfect night is being at home with her family and her two dogs, sipping steaming coffee under a cozy blanket and watching Hallmark movies for their feel-good, happy endings and for inspiration for her stories.

Kelly grew up in Rochester, MN, but, unlike her main character in her romance novel, she is not a fan of winter, so she has settled in “balmy” Maryland with her husband where they enjoy exploring the diverse area.
